Forty-three years, one principle: quality products at an accessible price
Erkul Cosmetics was founded in Istanbul in 1983 by Ahmet Erkul. Its approach has not changed since: bring high-quality manufacturing and accessible pricing together. That principle has made the company one of the established, trusted manufacturers in the global cosmetics industry. Since its founding it has exported to more than 90 countries across five continents, and today it is active in more than 70. Under the Golden Rose brand, Erkul Cosmetics develops and manufactures colour cosmetics, makeup, skin cleansing, fragrance and personal care products.
What sets Erkul Cosmetics apart is that the entire production chain is in-house. Formulas are developed in the company's own R&D centre. Manufacturing takes place in a 36,000 m² indoor facility in Istanbul under ISO 22716 Cosmetic GMP conditions. Tubes, caps and applicators are produced at the company's new BRC-certified 27,000 m² packaging plant in Esenyurt, commissioned in 2026 — from packaging design to mould production, all under one roof. This integrated structure, with 63,000 m² of indoor production area in total, serves both Golden Rose and private-label production for business partners.
Every product is safety-tested in accredited laboratories in accordance with the EU Cosmetics Regulation before launch, and a Product Safety File is prepared for each one. Our products and raw materials are not tested on animals.
